An Old-Fashioned, Speakeasy Style Barbershop
The shop is a home occupation located at 29 South Jefferson Avenue, Catskill New York. Jordan serves one client at a time exclusively in a professional barber chair. The barbershop and lounge space has an eclectic, old fashioned style, with a flare of a "drop dead" horror/ monster theme. A refreshment and music are always complimentary with your service. Relax on mid-century furniture, smoke a pipe, enjoy a movie, and play a game of pool on the house, while you immerse yourself in this underground getaway. The shop is licensed by New York State standards and features a full array of barbering services and equipment, including steam treatment, hot towel shaves, beard trimming, and styling.

Getting Here.
Drop Dead Barbershop Catskill is located in the basement level of a single family residence. We do not have a sign, but we have a barber pole visible from the street. When you arrive for your appointment, park in the end of the driveway whenever space is available, or otherwise on the street in front of the bushes/house. Follow the bluestone path on the right (south) side of the house, through the iron gate, and to the side entrance. The door will be open when you arrive, come right down!
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. If you are going to be late, please call as you may need to reschedule. If you are someone who requires special accommodations due to physical disability, please call or email to discuss how we can best serve you.
You are welcome to bring a guest with you to enjoy our space during your appointment time. You are also welcome to stop in during our business hours to purchase items from our retail section without an appointment. Purchase direct ship items in our online store anytime.
Booking and Cancellation Policy.
Drop Dead Barbershop operates on an APPOINTMENT ONLY basis. We do not accept walk-ins. It is preferred you book your own appointment on our website. Your appointment may be booked a minimum of ten hours in advance of your appointment time. We are generally booked out a few days, so please book early to get the time slot you desire.
We offer free cancellation up to 2 hours before your appointment time. Cancellations within 2 hours of your appointment or No call/ No shows will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee made payable to Venmo: @barba_jordan. Repeated issues with late cancellation or no show may result in inability to book future appointments.
Payment Policy.
We accept all major credit/debit cards using Square system, which is smart pay, tap, and chip enabled. We also accept cash or check. Payment in full is due at the time of service. Our prices are listed on our booking page, and vary on the level of service you book. If you are in any way dissatisfied with your result when you leave, please contact us and we will make it right. We do not offer refunds on services rendered.
